Q. What is the Christmas Club?
A.
The Write Price Christmas Club lets you set aside funds
throughout the year that can be spent at any Write Price
supermarket from December to February. To make your money go
even further whatever you pre-purchase will earn you bonuses in
the form of extra funds. The earlier you add to your account
the bigger the bonus you will receive. Please see the bonus
question below for more information. You
decide what you want to buy with your funds at the end of the
year. They can be spent on any item in store. You will also be
invited to a members' Christmas Club event at your home store
with super specials available on a range of festive fare.

Q. How do I join the Christmas Club?
A.
Simply download an application form here or ask for an application form at the
Service Desk instore on your next visit. Once you hand in your
completed application form at the Service Desk you will be sent
a personalised plastic card and automatic payment form in the
post.

Q. How do I pre-purchase funds?
A.
You can purchase funds at the checkout any time you are in the
store. Once you have received your card you can also set up an
automatic payment to the Christmas Club to purchase funds
regularly throughout the year. An automatic payment form will
be issued with your card or you can download one from the
Automatic Payments section once logged in on our website.

Q. Are my funds guaranteed? A.
Write Price Christmas Club funds are held in a secure account
and guaranteed by Foodstuffs North Island. However if your
Christmas Club card is lost or stolen your individual funds
cannot be reimbursed unless you notify us immediately.

Q. How do I know what my balance is?
A.
Once you receive your Christmas Club Card you can check your
balance by logging in to our website or
phoning 0508 WP XMAS (0508 97 9627). Note - your Access Code is
on your letter from us with your original card. If you don't
have this please call us on 0508 97 9627 and talk to one of our
staff. Funds purchased or redeemed instore update your balance
immediately. Automatic payments are added to your balance the
following working day.

Q. How do I redeem my funds? A. Your
Christmas Club funds can be redeemed for goods in store from
December to February by presenting your Christmas Club Card
when you make your purchase. If you have insufficient funds on
your card to complete a purchase a docket showing your current
balance will print out at the checkout. You can then use those
remaining funds and make up the difference with another payment
type to pay for your purchases. Any amounts
stored on your card which you do not spend from December to
February will be carried over to the next year. Christmas
Club cards are not a credit or charge card and cannot be
exchanged for cash.

Q. How do I receive bonuses? A.
Every time you purchase funds a bonus value is calculated, this
will then be added to your account for redemption from December
to February. See below for bonus rates and dates they apply:
December to February 7.53% March to
May6.38% June
to July5.26% August
to September4.17% October to November3.09%
Note: Funds added to your account within the above dates will
be subject to the bonus allocation for that month only. Bonuses
will be calculated as a proportionate percentage of the paid
amount; e.g. $5 added in January will equate to $5.38 in your
Christmas Club account.

Q. What about lost or stolen cards?
A.
If you lose your card or change your contact details you must
let us know immediately by calling 0508 WP XMAS (0508 97 9627).
You are responsible for the security of your card and we will
not reimburse you for any unauthorized use of your card.
Foodstuffs North Island will not be liable to you under any
circumstances for any loss or damage incurred in connection
with your Christmas Club account.

Q. What about cancellation of
membership?
A.
If you change your mind you have 7 days from the date of
joining to cancel your membership by giving written notice to
Foodstuffs North Island whereupon a refund of any amounts
deposited will be given. Cancellation of membership for
hardship cases will be considered on application to store
management. The bonus value will not be refunded where you
cancel your membership.
